Powertec Sissy Squat Pro - Quadricep & Core Workout for Home Gym

The Powertec Sissy Squat Pro machine allows for near 100% isolation on the quads while placing less stress on other muscles such as the knee joints. To use the Sissy Squat Pro, first step on to the machine and adjust the knee pad and ankle pads as required, ensuring that your feet are securely locked into position. The knee pad should be high enough to support the back of your knee as you sit back into a squat, and the ankle pads should be tightly locked in so your feet remain firmly in place throughout the motion.

Next, lower yourself into a squatting position, ensuring that you maintain tension on the thighs. Then, bring yourself back up to the starting position. Repeat this movement for your desired number of reps.

The Sissy Squat Pro has a large footplate that measures 17 1/4" x 18 3/4", with a height of 3 1/3" off the floor. For users of different heights, it's suggested to measure from your heel to the back of your knee (in a seated position) to determine the best Knee Pad setting. The Knee Pad is adjustable with 6 settings, ranging from 16 1/4" to 20 3/4" in height from the footplate. The front Ankle Pad has 8 settings, allowing for as little as a 1/2" gap from the Knee Pad, up to 6". This helps to keep your ankles firmly in place as you squat back.

The Sissy Squat Pro also has the option to add 2 Resistance Band Pegs at the rear, allowing for Resistance Bands to be incorporated into many movements for increased resistance. Additionally, the machine features two small wheels at the front, making it easy to lift from the rear and move the Sissy Squat Pro without the need to carry it.

The Sissy Squat primarily strengthens the quadriceps and also works the hip flexors, core strength, and can improve balance. Additionally, it is considered safer than regular squats and leg extensions, making it a useful alternative workout for those who want to relieve stress off their lower back and knees during squats. The Sissy Squat Pro machine allows you to lean back securely without fear of falling over or disrupting your posture.

Beyond the traditional bodyweight Sissy Squat, the Sissy Squat Pro can also be used to perform exercises such as the Sissy Overhead Squat, Sissy Lunge, and Seated variations. The machine has a max weight capacity of 400 lbs and dimensions of 46" x 21" x 24" (L 42" without Band Pegs).
